The number of reported whistle-blowers from disgruntled employees against their employers for Auto Enrolment irregularities was up in 2014/15 to 1,985; this is an increase of 488 from 2013/14 when 1,497 reported their employers to The Pension Regulator.

A survey of small businesses with auto-enrolment staging dates between 2015 and 2018 indicate that almost 25% may miss their date, risking penalties or fines by The Pensions Regulator.
The government has confirmed a rise in the National Minimum Wage from £6.50 to £6.70, as of October 2015. The rise, which is a difference of 3% is the largest increase in the wage since 2008.
