Are you worried you won’t be able to retire?

According to, a new report published by the CIPD has revealed that the average pension contribution by the employee into a workplace pension scheme is 5%. Although, the majority of employees say they think they should be saving 9% and a massive 43% of employees think they should contribute more than 10% of their salary to help them save for retirement.

Concern is increasing amongst workers in the UK, as they realise they may have to work past the state pension age, and a fairly large proportion of workers at 13%, are concerned they will be unable to leave paid employment.
